Jason Andrews recently plead guilty to first-degree murder in order to avoid the death penalty. The 28-year-old man was known in the gay adult film industry as one of the many smooth, defined models in the huge stable of porn magnate Sean Cody's website. The model will receive a life sentence without parole for killing 41-year-old Dennis "Scooter" Abrahamsen, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

"Now is this in lieu of the state seeking the death penalty?" asked Circuit Judge Michael Andrews. "It is," the defense attorney responded.

"(Andrews) actually said, 'I didn't know Mr. Abrahamsen. I killed Mr. Abrahamsen. It was a terrible thing I did. I will never be able to live with myself,'" the Assistant State Attorney Mike Halkitis said.

Abrahamsen was an owner of a tattoo parlor and was murdered in 2010 in his Tampa-area home after he hosted a sex party. Authorities said he was found dead on a massage table and that he had been stabbed and beaten with a sledgehammer, the Associated Press reported. Authorities also claimed that Amanda Logue, 28, and her boyfriend Andrews were behind the murder.

Logue, an adult film star, was hired as a prostitute for Abrahamsen's party. While she was with the victim, Andrews, a DJ and model for the gay porn website Sean Cody, waited outside to attack Abrahamsen. The couple sent each other text messages before he the vicious crime took place.

"I'm so glad you're really commited to this take. Keep eyes for a knife, etc for me!" Andrews wrote to Logue. Logue texted Andrews that she wanted to have sex with him after the murder. "Just get him on his face either bash or tell me to get in and where to go," Andrews wrote.

After the murder, Andrews and Logue stole $6,000 in cash as well as a laptop and a camera, according to authorities. A few days after the killing, the couple was arrested for stealing clothes from a Florida department store chain. Detectives questioned them about Abrahamsen's murder but were released on bail.

Logue was eventually arrested for the murder but her boyfriend disappeared. It took two months for U.S. Marshals to find Andrews, who was living in Chattanooga, TN. and working as a manager at an upscale club.

"I would say he was very surprised. He was very clean cut, broad shoulders, dressed in a suit, not in a suit and tie, but more 'Miami Vice,' more of a GQ appearance," said Paul Salayko, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service.

The pair met on the set of a porn shoot in 2009 and started a relationship despite Logue already being married.

Several of Abrahamsen's family and friends were at the hearing when Andrews plead guilty. The former adult model apologized to them but they were still upset.

"You should rot in hell," a relative told Andrews, according to Halkitis. "You shouldn't breathe the same air we breathe."

Logue will go on trial for first-degree murder in May.
