Hoodwinked!

Most children know the story of Little Red Riding Hood, but if you haven't seen Hoodwinked, you certainly don't know the full story!

Very much like the book (and musical) Wicked, Hoodwinked takes the story you thought you knew and tells it from a completely different perspective. It turns out that Red (Anne Hathaway) and Granny (Glenn Close) aren't as innocent as the original story portrayed them to be and the wolf isn't nearly as bad. Throw in a hapless woodcutter (Jim Belushi), a squirrel that is constantly hopped up on caffeine, and you've got a mash-up of Film Noir and The Usual Suspects that the entire family can enjoy.

The extras for this Blu-ray/DVD combo include previously released DVD extras. Included here is a commentary from writers and directors Cory and Todd Edwards and Tony Leech. Also included are deleted and extended scenes, a fun music video and a behind the scenes featurette. Included for the first time on the Blu-ray release is a new featurette - "True Behind The Scenes Story" - which is almost triple the running time of the originally released behind the scenes feature.

Good news - once you watch you won't have long to wait for the sequel which is slated for release in April of 2011.
