Watch: Kristen Stewart in Lesbian Love and Vengeance Thriller, 'Love Lies Bleeding'

Kristen Stewart is back in the first trailer for the A24 romantic thriller "Love Lies Bleeding."

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the film is directed and co-written by "Saint Maud's" Rose Glass, featuring Dave Franco, Ed Harris, Jena Malone and Anna Baryshnikov.

With Katy O'Brian as her love interest, Stewart plays a "reclusive gym manager Lou, who finds herself falling hard for Jackie (O'Brian) after the latter begins working out at her business," THR reports. O'Brian's Jackie is a bodybuilder "who is just headed through town on her way to Las Vegas in pursuit of her bodybuilding competition dream," per THR.

As random as it sounds, the two end up in some trouble and bullets begin to fly through a series of violent encounters.

In the trailer, described as a woman ready to "do anything," O'Brian gets a job at a shooting range, and it further leaders her down a troubling path of criminal mischief and revenge.

First announced in April 2022 and co-written by Weronika Tofilska, Film4 developed the film, with A24 producing with Andrea Cornwell for Lobo Films and Oliver Kassman for Escape Plan Productions.
