The Tillman Story dispels spun-sugar fables about the heroic sacrifice of former NFL player Pat Tillman, who walked away from a sports career to enlist and then died in Iraq. In its place, the movie offers a picture of another sort of heroism: one based on honesty, integrity, and honor.
