Organizers of a town in Minnesota that has come under fire for not protecting LGBT youth won’t let them participate in a Halloween parade.

Teachers from Minnesota’s largest school district debate about the current LGBT policy that forces them to remain neutral on the LGBT subjects as well as a proposed policy that prohibits them from discussing the topic as well.

Even though the Anoka-Hennepin school district in Minnesota faces two lawsuits over anti-gay bullying, a parents’ group insists that a so-called "neutrality policy" regarding GLBT issues has served the district well.

Nine students in one school district have killed themselves in the last two years, and others have attempted suicide. Many of them suffered anti-gay bullying. The school district: Minnesota’s Anoka-Hennepin -- in Michele Bachmann’s congressional district.

Two teachers who allegedly subjected a student to humiliating anti-gay comments and jokes have reportedly taken "voluntary leave."
