Joe Fiore & Dance:208 presented the 10th Annual Furball at the LGBT Community Center, with proceeds going to the Center. This beary-fun event rocked with 2 floors of dancing to DJs Corey Craig and Vito Fun.

Get ready to salivate. Here’s what was served at the Center’s 29th Annual Garden Party: crab cake sliders, coconut cupcakes, mini croque monsieur, champignon crostini, tuna tartare with avocado mousse, pecan butterscotch bars, butter crunch and marzipan.

More than 120 bicyclists are expected to participate in a three-day, 285 mile bike ride from Boston to New York City on Sept. 16-18 to raise money for the LGBT Community Center’s HIV/AIDS services.

The LGBT Community Center in lower Manhattan announced today Glennda Testone of the Women’s Media Center will become its next executive director. She will succeed Richard Burns, who stepped down earlier this year after more than two decades at the Center’s helm.
