A number of television shows that center around LGBT characters have been canceled, months after LGBT activists lauded TV producers for including a record number of openly gay characters on the small screen.

HBO has ordered a pilot for an unnamed show about three thirty-something gay men living in San Francisco.

The anti-gay group One Million Moms is furious over Jennifer Lopez’s new show that centers on a multi-ethnic family, headed by a lesbian couple -- a show that doesn’t even exist yet.
