This year gay community celebrated thirty years of Pride starting with a parade streaming with celebrities, specialty acts, and lots of PRIDE!

Dine like royalty aboard the Queen Mary at the nostalgic Sir Winston’s, which combines aristocratic elegance with modern cuisine.

Queen Latifah hosted the annual Long Beach Pride, where she said, she’d "been waiting a long time to do this," and was proud to be among her people.

With a main mega stage, Latino, country and pop dance floors, festival booths, food vendors, and great entertainment, this year’s festival had it all, including the biggest queen of all - Queen Latifah!

Downtown Long Beach is one of Southern California’s most unique waterfront urban destinations. The Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) produces a series of dynamic public events throughout the year.

Featured musical artists Levi Kreis, Ann Walker, Kim Yarbrough,HitPLAY, and Marvin Mathews helped to make this year’s Long Beach Pride Festival another successful event.

It was a beautiful day for the 2011 Long Beach Pride Parade. This Year’s parade included Grand Marshal Stephanie Miller, Community Grand Marshal Cory Allen, Community Grand Marshal Tonya Martin, Morris Kight Political Grand Marshal The Trevor Project, and Whitey Littlefield Bridge Builder Lysa Gamboa-Levy.

The inception of the Raven’s Nest in Long Beach is somewhat of a history lesson. Consider Anna Aleman, 46, who made a mid-life decision to follow her passion in an effort to honor family tradition.

The 23rd annual Long Beach Pride Parade traveled down Ocean Boulevard to a cheering crowd of People. There were thousands in attendance, with as many as 200 floats in this fun filled parade, helping to celebrate Gay and Lesbian Pride. EDGE has the photos for you to enjoy.
