Tampa City Council Approves Domestic Partner Registry

The Tampa City Council voted 7-0 on Thursday to create a domestic partner registry for unmarried partners. Officials in neighboring St. Petersburg will consider a similar proposal that gay City Councilman Steve Kornell introduced the same day.
